I had a wonderful time at the farm! Everyday waking up with the sounds of the birds, and going to sleep with the sounds of the owls. I loved being surrounded by the woods, it was truly a beautiful place. Also the workdays were good! We got up a bit late, had a big breakfast with everyone, and then went to work for a few hours, with soms nice coffee breaks. I was mostly building a hut, which was nice :) The owner, Anil, is really sweet and relaxed. I really came to peace at his wonderful farm. Would highly recommend anyone who is interesting in being at a remote place surrounded by nature, likes to build stuff or likes to learn to build stuff, and who is in for some philosophical discussion and for some nice backgammon games ;-)

My WWOOFing experience at Anil’s farm was quite spontaneous, but everything worked out perfectly! I stayed at his farm for about one week and had an amazing time. On his farm, we did everything together, breakfast, farm work, lunch, music in the evening, and board games :) It’s the perfect place if you want to experience real, natural life away from the noise and stress of big cities. Everybody who wants to be inspired by a more natural way of living is in the right place here! I can honestly say that this was my first time, but definitely not my last time at Anil’s home :)

Kevser and Mehmet are a truly wonderful couple. I stayed with them for 10 days in mid-April, and every single day was enjoyable, meaningful, and full of new learning experiences. Thanks to the detailed information they provided beforehand, I was able to arrive with peace of mind. The main tasks included taking care of the sheep and cracking walnuts. I also helped with weeding and planting potatoes. The work was generally not too physically demanding, and there was never any pressure or force to do anything. On the contrary, whenever I showed interest, they were happy to let me try many different tasks. Since it was still a bit cold during my stay, there was not much farm work in the fields. During both working hours and free time, they kindly and clearly shared their knowledge about sheep, walnuts, the land, and cooking. I learned a great deal from them. There happened to be a special local event during my stay, and being able to participate in it was a very valuable and memorable experience. There were also other volunteers staying at the same time, and they were all wonderful people. We shared stories about our countries, cooked together, watched movies, and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The time outside of work was just as fulfilling as the work itself. Everyone I met locally was kind and warm-hearted, even when we didn’t share a common language. Thank you so much for giving me such a meaningful and unforgettable experience. I truly hope to visit again someday.

I stayed at Mehmet and his wife Kader during the first week of my first stay in Turkey ever. I would not have wanted to miss this experience in all my life. As a sober Dutchie, i was flabbergasted by the warmth and hospitality of Mehmet, Kader and Lupus (their dog). Even the work I did (together with my co-volunteer Ahmed) on their beautiful farm felt like it was coming short of answering the love and delicious food they provided us. The work we had to do was quite intensive, but i have to say that this was my first ever experience WWOOFING or farming/gardening in general. For this reason I sometimes also did not fully understand what was expected of me, nor did i felt that I could easily ask Mehmet for further clarification because of a language barrier (even though Mehmet speaks English okay, our conversations could not get very deep). Nevertheless, the hard work was quite rewarding and was awaited by the delicious meals, laughs, çay and cuddles with their cat Limon at the end of the day. I sincerely recommend staying at Ekodanitap if you’re looking for a meaningful spending of time in beautiful nature, surrounded by equally beautiful people. Thanks again for the unforgettable week Mehmet and Kader. I will visit you again when i get the chance!

Çetin is an incredibly welcoming and accommodating host. The farm is a beautiful space; the accommodations are great, the common space is lovely and the other local farm workers are so kind. The work varied and changed day to day, depending on weather and needs. It is helpful to be creative and take initiative here. But there was lots of time to relax and explore the region. I highly recommend a stay at this farm. I hope to be back!

We had an amazing time at Çetin's farm! When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed with open arms. The facilities are perfect and all the people are lovely; every evening we had çay and nice talks with the other workers. The work is very varied. One day we did a lot of manual work, accompanied by views that seem to come straight out of a fairytale. The other day we did some research work. On the weekends, Çetin took us to see the surrounding areas, and you can feel that he really cares about your wellbeing. All in all, we will never forget our time here, and if fate has it, we will return!
