Temel olarak fındık, bunun yanı sıra aileye yetecek kadar sebze ve meyve yetiştirmektedir. 15 dönüm üzerinde kurulu fındık bahçeleri vardır. Çiftçi yıllardır sertifikalı organik tarım yapmaktadır. Eşiyle, oğullarıyla ve yaz aylarında dönemsel olarak gelen akrabalarıyla birlikte fındıkların hasadını yapmaktadırlar. Asıl mesleği muhasebecilik olan ev sahibi Temmuz, Ağustos, Eylül aylarında gönüllü kabul etmektedir. Her mevsim yeşil kalan ormanlarla çevrili bu coğrafyada birçok tecrübe yaşamak mümkündür. Yaban hayatı gözlemi, doğa yürüyüşleri ve şenlik havasında geçen fındık hasadı çiftliğin sunduğu olanaklar arasındadır. Eşinin mutfakta, Mustafa Bey'in ise bahçe işlerinde yardıma ihtiyacı vardır. Eşinin yaptığı turşular şimdiden bölgede nam kazanmıştır. --- The host is the chair of the Yuksek Yayla Agricultural Development Cooperative in his region where the main product is hazelnuts. Enough fruits and vegetables are produced for the family and visitors. The size of the hazelnut field is 15 acres. The farmer has been practicing organic agriculture for years. He harvests the hazelnuts with his wife, his son and his relatives. The host, whose original profession is accounting, accepts volunteers in the moths of July, August and September. A variety of experiences are available in this location which is surrounded by evergreen forests. Wild life observation, nature trekking and the festive hazelnut harvest are among the possibilities that the host offers. Help is needed by Mrs. Akbulut in the kitchen and by Mr. Akbulut in the garden. Mrs. Akbulut’s pickles are already famous in the region.
