Doğu Akdeniz’de yer alan çiftlikte anne ve oğlu birlikte yaşamaktadır. Ev sahipleri evlerini yılın on iki ayı gönüllülere açmaktadır. Bahçe işleri, bakım, çitleme, mantar toplama gibi işlerde yardıma ihtiyaç duyan aile, toplamda 12 dönümde tarım yapmaktadır. Fasulye, nohut, domates, salatalık, ay çiçeği, ve mısır temel tarım ürünleridir. Çiftliğe yakın mesafelerde birçok tarihi ve doğal ziyaret noktaları bulunmaktadır. Aşılı, Yalatlı, Değirmendere Kaleleri ve Yumurtalık, Akyatan, Tuzla gibi sulak alanlar bölgede yer almaktadır. Doğu Akdeniz’de kar yağışı genel olarak görülmemekle birlikte kısa süreli kar yağışları rakım ve konum nedeniyle çiftliğin yer aldığı yakın bölgede görülmektedir.

A mother and her son live on this farm in the Eastern Mediterranean area. The hosts accept volunteers all year around. They need help with gardening, maintenance, fencing, and picking mushrooms on their 12 hectares of land. Beans, chickpeas, tomotoes, cucumber, sunflower and corn are the main crops grown on the farm. There are several historical and natural sites nearby. The castles of Asili, Yalatli and Degirmendere are also nearby. In general the Eastern Mediterranean region does not get snow but because of the height and the altitude there might be some snow in the area around around the farm.
