Hello WWOOFers, the story of the farm began during the pandemic as a sanctuary to connect with nature and pursue sustainable agriculture. Our farm is certified organic by European standards, and we maintain the highest standards in our farming practices. Currently we have a small community of local people dedicated to natural living and farming. Alongside the team, we share our space with a variety of animals, including chickens, geese, dogs, and cats. Our farm is about creating a balanced, harmonious environment where nature and community thrive together. At Taurus Mountains Farm, our typical farming activities include organic gardening, harvesting avocados, olives and herbs, and maintaining our animal habitats. Each day begins at 6:00am with breakfast and 7.00am with work on tasks like planting, weeding, feeding animals, and general farming. It is important for us that WWOOFers actively participate in the work to be done. At Taurus Mountains Farm, we love practicing yoga, experiencing the beauty of nature, and engaging in creative projects like carpentry and furniture restoration. Nearby, there are plenty of activities for WWOOFers to enjoy. The Taurus Mountains offer stunning hiking trails with breathtaking views. We have several spots for swimming in nearby rivers and lakes. The farm itself provides opportunities for nature walks, bird watching, and exploring the local flora and fauna. WWOOFers at Taurus Mountains Farm will stay in cozy cabins, each accommodating up to three people. The cabins are comfortable, providing a rustic and peaceful environment. We start the day with a simple breakfast, followed by a hearty lunch after the morning's work, and a communal dinner at 6 PM. Meals are prepared using fresh, organic produce from our farm, ensuring nutritious and delicious options. There is no TV, and alcohol is only allowed on Saturdays. Additionally, bicycles and a car are available for everyone to use, allowing easy access to surrounding attractions. I spent a little over a month volunteering at this farm and it was absolutely amazing! The work was rewarding – we harvested olives and pomegranates, and even planted nearly 400 olive trees. After work, we often had movie nights on the projector, which was a great way to bond with other volunteers. On weekends, we explored beautiful places like waterfalls, ancient cities, and went to the beach every Sunday. The accommodation was in cozy, fully-equipped houses. This was an unforgettable experience where I met great people and learned a lot about farm life. I highly recommend this farm to any future volunteer!

Ich habe drei Wochen auf der Taurus Mountain Farm verbracht – eine Woche mit einem Freund und zwei weitere allein – und kann diesen Ort wirklich nur empfehlen. Ich wollte Zeit in der Natur verbringen, mit den Händen arbeiten und das einfache Leben genießen. Genau das habe ich hier gefunden – und noch viel mehr. Die Arbeit war manchmal anstrengend, aber unglaublich schön und erfüllend. Nach drei Wochen Olivenernte das eigene Öl in den Händen zu halten, war ein tolles Gefühl. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an Berk, den Farmleiter, der sich mit so viel Herz um alle Volunteers kümmert. Er sorgt dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Tag an willkommen fühlt und ein Teil der Gemeinschaft wird. Neben der Arbeit gab es jede Menge Highlights: ein Ausflug zu einem natürlichen Wasserfall, Rafting, Yoga am Morgen, das Meer in Antalya, Wanderungen und gemeinsame Pizza-Abende unter freiem Himmel. Das Essen war immer frisch, lecker und mit Liebe gekocht. Die Farm ist wunderschön gelegen, ruhig und umgeben von Natur – ein Ort, an dem man schnell abschalten kann. Für mich war es eine richtig gute Erfahrung und eine Entscheidung, die ich sofort wieder so treffen würde. Cetin hat als Gründer dieser Farm eine Vision ins Leben gerufen, die das Ganze erst möglich gemacht hat 💚🌿

Staying in a farm immersed in mountain, it would be the best place for be in! You have the chance to watch the sunrise in the morning and the magnifique sky full of stars in the night. My staying at Tuaras mountain farm was super good since the program of volunteers is clear, we work in range between 4 to 6 hours maximum, it's a place that you could volunteer in the farm and communite without stop your remotely job. The atmosphere is great, team work indeed. A warm thanks for Berk, cetin, Kim, Uncle Omar and his wife and the female villager's workers. Wish you to grow up more Tauras Farm Team! and to reach the sky unlimited achievement:)

We spent almost 10 days on the farm and had a wonderful time. We mainly worked in the field and in the greenhouse in the mornings. In the afternoons, we were free to enjoy the beautiful location of the farm and explore the surrounding area. The farm is constantly developing, growing and full of ideas, which gives you lots of opportunities to get involved and contribute. In this way, we built up a strong bond with the farm and the community in a very short time and would have loved to stay and continue with all the projects. PS: we are excited to see what Maurus Tountain will become ;)

We spent two wonderful weeks in Cetin’s farm ! Cetin and Berk (the manager of the farm) do everything to make the volunteers feel comfortable. Most of the days we worked on the morning in the land. About working, it depends on the season. When we were at the farm, we repoted olive trees and cleaned the land. We usually had the afternoon free. It was possible to hike around the farm or relax and enjoy cats. Sunday is usually a day off and we enjoyed the beach at 40 minutes by car. The room was very nice. And there is a beautiful commun room to chill and cook for the volunteers. The view is amazing from here ! It was really an incredible experience there, We totally recommend this woofing. And we wish all the best to Cetin and Berk for the future.

My friend and I spent a week WWOOFing at Taurus Mountains Farm, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. The farm is located in the beautiful foothills of the Taurus Mountains, offering a peaceful and idyllic setting perfect for connecting with nature. We worked a maximum of 4 hours per day, which gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Our main task was planting olive trees together with other volunteers, who were also very friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Çetin and Berk, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made us feel at home from day one, and they truly created a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Overall, our stay at Taurus Mountains Farm was a fantastic and enriching experience. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in sustainable farming, cultural exchange, and spending time in a beautiful, natural environment. We would definitely love to come back! 🌿✨
