We are Cetin and Kim, and we live together on an organic farm in the mountains near Antalya. Cetin founded the farm, and Kim joined him later. Today, we are developing it together with respect for nature, animals and the people who visit us. We grow organic avocados and olives, as well as lemons, oranges, pomegranates and other fruit. In the future, we would also like to grow more of our own organic vegetables. Healthy soil, careful growing and a responsible approach to the land are very important to us. Several large livestock guardian dogs live on the farm, as well as cats, chickens and geese. The animals are an important part of everyday life here. Anyone who would like to take special care of the dogs should have experience with large dogs and be calm, attentive and responsible around them. The tasks on the farm change with the seasons. They can include work in the fields and orchards, caring for trees, harvesting, watering, animal care, light repairs, and helping to keep the large farm area clean and tidy. During harvest time, there may also be opportunities to process and preserve fruit and other farm products. Sometimes other projects come up too, such as practical, creative or digital tasks. If you have a particular skill, experience or idea that you would like to contribute, please tell us about it. We may be able to find a project that suits you and the farm’s needs at the time. We would like to give WWOOFers an honest insight into everyday life on a sustainably run organic farm. You can learn about avocado and olive growing, harvesting, caring for animals, seasonal food and practical farm work. At the same time, we enjoy learning from the skills, ideas and perspectives that people from different countries bring with them. Guest accommodation is separate from our own living area and located directly on the farm. There is one room with two single beds, a private entrance and its own bathroom with a shower. A second room has three beds, including one double bed, and a separate entrance. Its shower and toilet are in a small bathroom building immediately next to the room. This bathroom building may also be used by guests staying in a campervan or tent; camping is possible by prior agreement. We always discuss the exact room arrangement before arrival. Bedding and towels are provided. Guests have their own shared kitchen and a terrace where they can cook for themselves, eat together and spend time with each other. There are no fixed shared mealtimes with us. Depending on what is happening on the farm, there may sometimes be shared activities, conversations, outings or even a meal together, growing naturally out of daily life. We provide fresh vegetables, eggs, dairy products and basic staples such as pasta, rice, flour and oil. Whatever is ripe on the farm is included as well. Fish and meat are rare here. WiFi is available across the property and is normally suitable for video calls and personal online work. We value an open, calm and respectful atmosphere. In your free time, you can relax on the farm, explore the mountains or discover the surrounding area.

Çetin is an incredibly welcoming and accommodating host. The farm is a beautiful space; the accommodations are great, the common space is lovely and the other local farm workers are so kind. The work varied and changed day to day, depending on weather and needs. It is helpful to be creative and take initiative here. But there was lots of time to relax and explore the region. I highly recommend a stay at this farm. I hope to be back!

We had an amazing time at Çetin's farm! When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed with open arms. The facilities are perfect and all the people are lovely; every evening we had çay and nice talks with the other workers. The work is very varied. One day we did a lot of manual work, accompanied by views that seem to come straight out of a fairytale. The other day we did some research work. On the weekends, Çetin took us to see the surrounding areas, and you can feel that he really cares about your wellbeing. All in all, we will never forget our time here, and if fate has it, we will return!

I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Taurus Mountains Farm, as it truly lives up to its values of innovation, community, and sustainability. From day one, you feel that you are part of something bigger. The farm staff treats all volunteers, workers, and management with genuine love and respect, and Cetin, Kim, and Berk are always around to welcome you and listen to your perspectives. During my stay, I learned how to protect avocado trees from frost damage, work with olive and rosemary trees, and spent many lovely moments caring for the farm animals. Working alongside the villagers made the experience even more special. Zeynab is truly a GOAT. She brings so much energy to the mornings and makes time in the fields feel special and cherished. The pets Tommy, Latte, Cappuccino, and Rosie will always have a special place in my heart whenever I look back at my pictures and videos. In fact, all of the animals on the farm are friendly, sweet, and love being around newcomers, always showing so much affection. Cetin regularly hosted opportunities to enjoy homemade Turkish cuisine and learn about local traditions. If you are considering owning a farm one day, this is a great place to start, as the farm is expanding and offers firsthand insight into how a growing farm is run. Berk always makes sure volunteers are well fed, helps with groceries, and plans fun weekend getaways. The team truly makes you feel at home, turning my one month stay into an unforgettable first WWOOF experience.

Andy was a wonderful part of our farm for nearly a month. He worked with great care, responsibility and positive energy in everything he did, from protecting avocado trees to helping with animals and daily farm tasks. He quickly adapted to the farm life and became part of the team and the village. We truly appreciated his respect, curiosity and kindness. Anyone who hosts Andy will be very lucky. Our doors are always open for him. 🌿

My mom and I had an amazing time at Taurus Mountains Farm. Cetin and his team are inviting, the accommodations are wonderful, the location is unmatched, and the farm itself is brimming with potential. I appreciated that the farm staff was so involved with the daily ins and outs of farm work (shoutout to Berk) and that we got to work side by side with members of the surrounding community. I felt like I not only had the chance to learn about and contribute to the process of organic farming, but to also be immersed in Turkish culture (food, language, customs, etc.) I am excited to see how the farm grows in the years to come. I am glad to have had the opportunity to work on Taurus Mountains Farm with my mom and will forever be grateful to Cetin and his team. It was an unbelievable experience.

Ellis and Cathy stayed with us for two weeks and it was truly a pleasure to host them. From the first day, they brought a positive attitude, good energy and a genuine interest in farm life. Together we protected our avocado trees from frost by wrapping them with thermal covers, prepared and applied mulch around the trees and worked on daily farm tasks. They also helped with the care of our chickens and geese and supported many other activities around the farm with responsibility and care. They were hardworking, respectful, easy to communicate with and always willing to learn. Beyond the work, we also shared very nice moments, conversations and a warm atmosphere on the farm. We are very grateful for the time we spent together and would happily recommend Ellis and Cathy to any host. They will be a valuable and positive addition to any farm they visit. All the best🌿 Taurus Mountains Farm

I stayed at Taurus mountains farm for one month while in Turkey and I would highly recommend it. The farm is located in a really beautiful area surrounded by incredible views of the mountains. They are a fairly new farm which I found really interesting to have been part of this chapter as they navigate many important foundational aspects of their farm. Theres a real communal feeling amongst everyone involved so i felt comfortable right away. We mainly worked with the farm manager, Berk, who always does his best to make sure the wwoofers felt comfortable. And Zaynep, who had a wonderful energy and taught us how to make Burek! Cetin and Kim are also wonderful hosts and very accommodating. We worked from 8:30am-1:30pm Monday - Friday with Saturday as a cleaning day and Sunday as a free day. Our main working duties included planting avocado trees, giving them shade wraps. And replacing the old watering system. We even did a little bit of work with the bees. All the work was very rewarding and I learned so much about avocado trees. I already miss the beautiful days in the avocado felid, great movie nights with the team and cuddles with Rosie the dog! I’ll Definitely be back!

I spent one week at Cetins place, settled in a wonderful spot with great view on the mountains. The volunteers are lodged in nice and comfortable stone houses and meals were cooked together in the big kitchen/living place. Berk, the farm manager was very welcoming, the communication was excellent and on top he was always trying to comfort all volunteers needs. Work wise, I was harvesting or planting in greenhouses, planting trees and making carob powder during the week but never more than four hours a day, which gave enough time to relax and go for walks in the afternoon. A big thank you for this discovery and wishing all the best for this project to develop and grow :-) hope to come back one day soon!
