**Zeytinliboğaz Permaculture Farm**
Zeytinliboğaz Permaculture Farm, engaged in livestock, fruit growing, vegetable growing, and olive cultivation, offers a sustainable lifestyle intertwined with nature. Founded in 2008 by Selçuk Şahin, who left his white-collar job, this family farm is operated by expert family members. The mother is skilled in making yogurt, cheese, pickles, pasta, and sourdough bread. The father worked for many years as a butcher and farmer, retired, and was knowledgeable in livestock breeding. Unfortunately, he passed away in January 2021.
Selçuk Şahin completed his Permaculture Design Certificate training in 2015 and Holistic Management training in 2016. He also completed studies in Agriculture and Medicinal Aromatic Plants at the Open Education Faculty. He provides consultancy services in permaculture and livestock farming.
**Zeytinliboğaz Farm** follows permaculture principles and boasts an untouched nature rich in oxygen and diverse vegetation. Throughout the year, the farm offers enjoyable and healthy activities. Products are grown from heirloom seeds, with special emphasis on seed production and exchange activities.
Activities at the farm include grafting techniques, composting practices (hot composting), effective microorganism production, fermentation processes (vinegar, pickles, sausages, etc.), wood architecture, seasonal vegetable and fruit harvests, drying fruits and vegetables, olive harvesting and brining, beekeeping maintenance and honey harvests, sauce, jam, preserve, and molasses production, sourdough bread making, special soap making using ash water and natural materials, fruit and grape cultivation and care, aromatic plant collecting and cultivation, poultry and livestock breeding and care, water and access planning, pasture enrichment, and planned grazing.
At **Zeytinliboğaz Farm**, children can experience the limitless imagination of natural areas where they learn and play. Collecting eggs, picking cherries, hopping with lambs, recognizing plants and animals, playing with ducklings in water - the joy of children echoes in the lush hills.
Zeytinliboğaz Permaculture Farm invites you to share their produce and learn together, creating new experiences in a life intertwined with nature.

Selçuk welcomed me to his farm and taught me new lessons every day. He accommodated my particular interest in animals. The atmosphere on the farm is one of community and learning, and we shared many laughs and delicious meals. A truly unforgettable experience!

When you find someone who is incredibly compatible, hardworking, intelligent and sometimes you get along without talking, you feel sad when they leave. But we were never sad. We did good things together. This energy is always with us. Thank you very much Emilia. We are so glad we met you.

I had the opportunity to share a wonderful experience in Zeytinlibogaz Permakültür Çiftliği with Selcuk and his family.
Here we learn a lot of, we share and have fun !
It’s beautiful place between the mountains, olives groves and sheeps where there are many things to learn, understand and practices.
Many thanks for helping me to grow and develop my skills !
I recommend it to those who want to learn and enjoy.
Çok teşekkür ederim !
