Tekelioğlu: Türkiye'nin ilk ekolojik tarım köyü
1989 yılından beri ekolojik üretim yapan, Türkiye'nin ilk ekolojik çiftçileri arasında yer alan aile geçimlerini ekolojik sertifikalı üzüm ve zeytinden sağlarken, kendi ihtiyaçları için tahıl, sebze ve meyve de üretiyor. Çiftlikte ayrıca yine kendi ihtiyaçları için çeşitli çiftlik hayvanları var. Buğday ve sütün fazlasını ise satıyorlar. Aile, misafirlerine evlerindeki üç kişilik bir odayı ayırıyor. Banyoda güneş enerjisi ile ısınan sıcak su bulunuyor. Yemekler aile ile birlikte yeniyor. Ayşe Hanım sofradaki her şeyin kendi ürünleri olmasıyla gurur duyuyor. Tekelioğlu: The first ecological agriculture village in Turkey
This family is one of the first in Turkey to farm ecoloically, and have been doing so since 1989. While they make their living from grapes and olives they also produce their own grains, vegetables and fruits. They keep some farm animals for their own needs and sell some excess milk and grains. The family accommodates their guests in a spare room with three beds. The hot water is solar generated. Meals are eaten with the host family. Mrs. Ayşe Şener is proud of the fact that almost everything she puts on the table is their own produce. Don't forget to listen to granny Fadime's nomad stories.
