[ENGLISH BELOW] Merhaba sevgili WWOOF gönüllüleri. Ben Muhammet Ali Kıvrak. 1979 doğumluyum. Eşim ve 3 çocuğumla birlikte Bolu/Kıbrıscık'ta yaşıyorum. Mümkün olduğunca gidip vakit geçirmeyi sevdiğim, doğanın içinde, merkezden uzakta bir bahçemiz var. Bahçe Kıbrıscık merkeze 7 km uzaklıkta, ana yolun yanında, bu nedenle araba ile ulaşım kolay. Kıvrak Ceviz Bahçesi'ni ziyaret etmeye karar verirseniz, orada evimizde kalacaksınız ve ben size eşlik edeceğim. Yemek yapmayı seviyorum ve doğa yürüyüşleri ve dağ tırmanışı gibi etkinlikler düzenleme konusunda deneyimliyim. İnsanları ağırlamayı, onları gezdirmeyi ve kültürümüzü tanıtmayı seviyorum. Sivil toplum çalışmalarında da aktifim. Kıbrıscık Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Derneği'nin başkanlığını ve Türkiye Multipl Skleroz (MS) Derneği Bolu Şubesi'nin başkanlığını yürütüyorum. İngilizce bilmiyorum ama bunun iletişimimizde ciddi bir engel teşkil edeceğini düşünmüyorum. Kıvrak Ceviz Bahçesi'nde ağırlıklı olarak ceviz ağaçları var. Cevizin dışında başka meyve ağaçlarımız ve üzüm asmamız da var. Bahçeye yerel tohumlar ekiyorum, çeşitli yerel türleri denemeyi seviyorum. Mevsimine göre bahçemizde meyve ve sebzelerimiz oluyor. 3 köpeğimiz ve çok sayıda tavuğumuz var. Havalar uygun olduğunda hayvanlarımızı araziye getiriyoruz. Ama havalar soğuk olduğunda ailemin yaşadığı merkezdeki evimizde duruyorlar. Arazimde tarım zehri kullanmıyorum. Toprağı beslemek için köylülerden aldığım koyun gübresini kullanıyorum. Sabah ilk işimiz köpeklerle ilgilenmek, onları beslemek ve onlarla oynamak oluyor. Daha sonra tavukların yumurtalarını topluyor ve kahvaltımızı hazırlıyoruz. Kahvaltıdan sonra çiftlik işlerine devam edebiliriz. Yapılacak en önemli şey çapalama ve budama için aletlerin nasıl kullanılacağını öğrenmek. Akşam yemeğini birlikte yiyoruz. I was born in 1979. I am living in Bolu/Kıbrıscık with my wife and 3 children. We have a garden in nature, far from the center, where I like to go and spend time as much as possible. It is 7 km from the center of Kıbrıscık, next to the main road, so access by car is easy. If you decide to visit Kıvrak Ceviz Bahçesi, you will stay there at our house and I will accompany you. I love cooking, and I am experienced in organizing events such as nature walks and mountain climbing. I love to host people, show them around and introduce them about our culture. I am also active in civil society work. I am the head of Kıbrıscık Sustainable Development Association and also head of the Bolu branch of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Association of Turkey. I don't speak English, but I believe this doesn't have to be a serious obstacle to our communication. Kıvrak Ceviz Bahçesi is mainly a walnut orchard, but we also have other fruit trees and grape vine. I plant local seeds, I like to try various species. We have fruits and vegetables available in our garden according to the season. We have 3 dogs and a lot of chickens. When the weather is suitable, we bring our animals to the land. But when it is cold, we keep them in the center where my family lives. I don't use pesticides on my land. I use sheep manure from the villagers to feed the soil. First thing to do in the morning is to take care of the dogs, feed them and play with them. Then, we collect the chickens' eggs and prepare our breakfast. After breakfast, we can continue with the farm tasks. The most important thing to do is to learn how to use tools for hoeing and pruning. We have dinner together. I spent 5 days with Muhammet in Kıbrıscık.During this period I discovered the generosity and kindness of the Turks. I was able to meet many people from the village and share beautiful moments with them.I was welcomed like a friend and I will keep very fond memories of it. I thank Muhammet and all the people of the village.As for work, I was able to accompany Muhammet for some classic tasks that we did together. Although neither French nor English were understood, we exchanged and and shared many things during these few days. Thank you
